juniper grows sparse

Sometimes nightmares are so vivid, they warrant capture… in words. This scene was so clear to me when I opened my eyes. I’m often left with wonderment at what dreams may reveal. Even though the imagery can be frightening, I tend to think they are less literal and more representative of issues your conscious mind is struggling with. What does this poetic dream mean to you?

  1. This poem reminds me of the book of Revelations with salvation for those who are born again, or in this case, in a loving and trusting relationship. Of course, I could be way off on this one too. πŸ˜‚

  2. I am not familiar with the story of this welsh goddess you have mentioned in this poem, but she looks scarier. The devil within is the real demon:)
