morning dew

There are so many sayings, expressions, and idioms regarding the eyes.

This poem seeks to focus in on the enormity of a moment captured in a lover’s eyes. The notion of getting lost (or nearly lost) in someone’s eyes.

Have you felt that feeling before? The sense of going all-in for love with no safety net? That wave of passion so transcendent?

Well, I would absolutely love to hear your thoughts in the Comments section below about these questions – – – and how the poem may have affected you.

  1. Mesmerized…Like you feel when you get lost in someone’s eyes…Definitely feel like I have watched eyes change color…Lol. I can relate real well to the desire of the last verse…Eyes open the soul and make one more desirable…

      1. I can relate to getting lost in someone’s eyes the color of the sky the color of the purest water. When he looks at me and they light up it’s enough to get lost in them forever and not want to come back

      1. My poetry tends to favor darker, sadder themes. I’m always so thrilled when something more loving comes across well. 💚💜🖤

    1. Thanks so much, Jennifer! 💚🙏🍷 you set your website up as a business and then post ads thru FB. Costs me maybe $15-20 for each poem. No biggie.
